Looking at my biggest fears casually laying on someone else’s coffee table

I have loved writing since I tackled my first book — in third grade — about horses (spoiler alert! the girl and the pony become friends).

Now, I am writing a memoir based on my New York Times’ Modern Love column. Preparing My Family For Life Without Me.

I also wrote a monologue, Number 58, for Liars’ League in Portland.

And recently, I have been writing some really fun scripts for Rebel Girls about kick-ass women to inspire the next generation. Including:

I did marketing for almost twenty years, eight of those were spent in China. When I had a consumer insights business in Shanghai, I wrote All Eyes East, Lessons from the Front Lines of Marketing to China’s Youth. The book was named a Top 5 Marketing Book of the Year by Expert Marketer magazine.
